Alexander Kofi Mensah Mould Class of 1978 (Bleo 78) has been the Ag.
CEO of the National Petroleum Authority since 2009.
Prior to joining the National Petroleum Authority, Alex was the Executive
Director and Co-Head Wholesale Bank of Standard Charted Bank, Ghana from 2001 to 2008.
He was the Associate Director, Commodity Finance of Standard Charted Bank, New York from 1999 to 2001.
He was the Snr Associate, Structured Trade Finance Americas, UBS Investment Bank from 1997 to 1999.
He was Special Assistant (Marketing) to CEO, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation from 1985 to 1994.
Alex Mould completed his sencondary eduction at Accra Academy in 1978 aand continued to
the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana where he obtained a bachelor’s
degree in Chemical Engineering. B.Sc. (Hons) in 1985.
Alex Mould holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Oil Marketing and Economics, College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford (1989).
He obtained his MBA, Finance, Accounting and Decision Science from J.L Kellogg Graduate School,
Northwestern University, Illinois, USA in 1994
