The German Ambassador to Ghana Botschafter Dr. Marius Haas paid a courtesy call to Accra Academy.

The aim of the visit was to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the German Government and Accra Academy.

Accra Academy becomes the second senior high school in Ghana to have such an agreement with the German Government.

In his speech to the school Herr Hass advised the school to reach out to the alumni outside the country to enable them assist the school.

He also advised students to take the learning of foreign languages seriously.

For his part, the Headmaster of the school, Mr Samuel Ofori-Adjei, thanked the German Ambassador and his entourage for for their support. Prayers for the occassion was said in German by two students of Accra Academy.
